Dr. Mahamadu Fuseini is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular diseases. He has been selected as America’s Top Cardiologist in 2006, 2007, and 2008 by the Consumer Research Council of America. His services include stress tests, echocardiograms, EKGs, and pacemaker implants and checks. Mahamadu avails himself for emergency care, diagnostic services, and prevention/educational assistance.
Dr. Mahamadu Fuseini decided to pursue an independent medical practice and came to the Small Business Development Center under the recommendation of a local lender. After discussing Mahamadu’s dreams for his medical practice, a list of items to prepare a business plan for financing was developed. Dr. Fuseini and the SBDC researched various business areas in order to project sales, expenses, equipment, personnel, and capital requirements.
Mahamadu successfully secured a business loan and opened his doors with six employees after several months of working on the business proposal. Currently he is looking to expand his workforce to ten.
