SBA launches Small Biz Hotline

Small business owners now have no farther to go than their telephone to get the answers they seek.
The New Mexico district office of the Small Business Administration announced the launch of a Small Business Hotline in response to concern's taidsed by the state's small businees community during these uncertain economic times. The purpose of this hotline is to give small business owners a single telephone number they can all with business and finanacing related questions.
Small Business Administration employees will listen to caller’s concerns and refer them to counselors at the appropriate organizations, including Small Business Development Centers, Counselors to America’s Small Business, and the Women’s Economic Self Sufficiency Team Corp.
"New Mexico small businesses have questions about today’s economic situation," said John Woosley, district director of the New Mexico office of the Small Business Administration.
"Businesses need to stay focused and not panic during these times. We feel it’s important that SBA provide an outlet for our small business community to get the answers they need on questions relating to surviving in this environment."
To use the hotline, call toll free (800) 726-3632. Select option two, then select option three. Staff is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
